PROJECTS / RESEARCH

Thesis title: Manipulating cross-frequency coupling between theta and gamma rhythm in human neocortex by transcranial electrical stimulation.

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Main interests: functional and effective connectivity in the human brain, hierarchy of the brain oscillations and cognitive organisation from the neuronal to psychological level.
My current research aims to gain insights into the causal relations between different rhythms in the neocortex and to clarify the role of cross-frequency coupling in the working memory.
