PROJECTS / RESEARCH

The role of thalamic pulvinar in eye-hand coordination for goal-directed actions.

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My main interest lays in cognitive neuroscience, how we interpret and transform information in order to act, and how we are able to adapt and successfully function even under suboptimal conditions. My present goal is to unveil the role of the thalamic pulvinar nuclei for the encoding of goal directed behaviours, while my long term goal is to gain a deep understanding on the function of the human brain.
